I'm Mitchel. I've been an entrepreneur for over 20 years: e-commerce, digital products, online education. I built companies, sold a few, and lost a lot of money on one. What I never did was build software.
That changed in June 2025, when I started vibe coding. No degree, no years of training, just AI and a lot of stubbornness. I shipped five internal projects that way: CRM systems, membership platforms, a few trackers, and a pile of smaller tools.
Then came the idea for Flashbag, a platform where entrepreneurs hire and run their own team of AI employees. I vibe coded a working demo in a single weekend, right after Anthropic banned OpenClaw from using subscription tokens, as you can see in Episode 1: The Switch.
What I understood very quickly is that this one asks for more than vibe coding. This is a real piece of software with real customers, entrepreneurs who are going to run their entire business on it. That is a different animal from a weekend build. So I brought in my cracked developer: over 20 years of experience, and fast, because he has adopted the same AI coding workflows I use. The difference is that he can also read every line of code he writes.
That's the whole setup. He ships code at the speed AI now allows. I ship growth strategies at exactly the same speed. Both of us doing the thing we're actually best at, neither of us waiting on the other.
Building in Public is my half of that, on camera. You'll watch me sell: the launches, the real numbers, the ads that flop, the emails that land, the weeks where nothing moves at all. No highlight reel, because the flops are the useful part.
The show runs in seasons, and a season is a customer count rather than a calendar. Season 1 goes from zero to 500 customers. The last one ends at 10,000. Each takes however long it takes.
